Sahara Mustard. Native to Mediterranean region & Eurasia. Invasive in Southwestern United States & Australia. Plant Description: Herbaceous annual. Germinates, sets seed & dies within one year.  Yellow flowers with 4 petals. Can grow up to 3 feet tall. Bloom period: Dec-Jun. How are wildlands affected? Forms tumbleweeds, spreading seeds with the wind.  Increases fuel load & connectivity in drylands. Fills in gaps between plants, increasing dry material available to burn & carry fire across landscape.
