Call for Abstracts for the 2022 Cal-IPC symposium now OPEN!

Come together in person for our summer mini-symposia at Cal Poly Pomona (June 13), CSU East Bay (July 18), and/or join us online November 1-3! This symposium is a great opportunity for students (community college, undergraduate, and graduate), as well as early-career professionals to share their work related to invasive plant research and management.

This year, we have 3 separate deadlines for abstract submissions. Depending on when and where you would like to present (Summer: Cal Poly Pomona, CSU East Bay, or Fall: online), the submission deadlines are as follows:

Cal Poly Pomona- IN PERSON, Accepting abstracts for posters only.

Submission deadline: May 31st

CSU East Bay- IN PERSON, Accepting abstracts for posters only.

Submission deadline: June 15th

Online Symposium- 3 day virtual event, Accepting abstracts for posters and talks.

Submission deadline: June 15th

Please visit the Information for Presenters page to learn more about the guidelines and requirements for abstract submissions. There, you will also find the link to submit your abstract.

As a reminder, there is a student contest for best poster and best talk with monetary prizes. Use this opportunity to practice your presentation skills, receive feedback from experts, and possibly gain some money while doing so.

REGISTRATION FOR THE CONFERENCE WILL OPEN ON MAY 9TH, 2022

Student presenters receive free registration, while student non-presenters receive a low cost registration fee. There will also be discount codes available for low-income individuals.
